Sushant Singh Rajput Death: CBI Issues An Official Statement After Reports Claim Agency Has Reached A Conclusion; Says, 'CBI Continues Investigation'
It’s been months now since the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Amidst the ongoing CBI investigation, after the AIIMS report ruled out the murder angle in the late actor’s case, a recent report stated that the agency has concluded its investigation and is likely to submit a closure report soon.  Now, in a significant development in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, as per the latest report, the CBI said they continue to investigate the death of SSR and has reacted to reports that claim they have reached a conclusion.

On their official Twitter handle, ANI tweeted, “Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continues to investigate the death of #SushantSinghRajput. There are certain speculative reports in media that the CBI has reached a conclusion. It may be reiterated that these reports are speculative and erroneous: CBI”

Reacting to the reports that claimed the CBI has concluded their investigation, the agency released an official statement. They said that the CBI continues to investigate the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and mentioned that the statement is in regards to the speculative reports in the media that say they have reached a conclusion. The CBI then said that it once again says that the reports are nothing but ‘speculative and erroneous’.


Meanwhile, a report in Zee News stated that the Central agency has reached a conclusion and is expected to file its closure soon in the Patna court in the coming few days. For the unversed, after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against five accusing them of abetment of suicide in Patna.
